Monongahela Valley Hospital (MVH) is welcoming thoracic surgeon, Percival Buenaventura, M.D., and vascular surgeon, Luke Marone, M.D. to the mid-Monongahela Valley.

Dr. Buenaventura is a thoracic surgeon with the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute. He received his medical degree from The Rutgers Robert Woods Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ; completed residencies in general and cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh; and completed a research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh and Boston’s Children’s Hospital. Dr. Buenaventura is board certified in cardiac and thoracic surgery.

 Luke Marone, M.D.

 

 

 

 

Dr. Marone is the Co-Director and Chief of Vascular Interventional Services at the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute. He received his medical degree from Tufts University; completed his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital; and completed his vascular surgery research fellowship and vascular surgery clinical fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Marone is board certified in surgery and vascular surgery.
