Health

Dear Editor,
A dear family member was diagnosed with cancer this yearand our world was quickly turned upside down. Saying “Thank you”just doesn’t seem like enough to express our deep gratitude and appreciation for all that this community (West Newton and surrounding areas) has done for our family.

The names of people and businesses involved are too many to list, but they know who they are. Although his journey is far from over, the efforts of all those who lent a hand will linger on.

‘Overwhelming’ is probably the best word to describe the outpouring of love and support that has been bestowed upon us: Fundraisers, gas cards, food, clothing – you name it, we have received it! – not to mention the stellar care he continues receive from the doctors and staff at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Our families will forever be grateful for the love and support of a community that went into overdrive in our time of need. May goodness and blessings come to you all.

Humbly Yours,

The Chopp and Science families
