People who choose to have their CT scans at Monongahela Valley Hospital’s Rostraver Imaging now have access to safe and comfortable exams with the installation of Toshiba’s Aquilion LightningTM CT system.
The Aquilion Lightning combines advanced features including a wider bore and cutting-edge dose reduction technology with exceptional image quality to help the medical professionals at Rostraver Imaging deliver high-quality patient care.
“To ensure our patients continue to receive the best possible care without sacrificing the image quality we rely on for fast and accurate imaging, we have bolstered our imaging offerings by installing Toshiba’s Aquilion Lightning CT system,” said Louis J. The Aquilion Lightning comes with a powerful generator that is capable of imaging a wide range of patients. It also utilizes the latest technology to help reduce dose, simplify complex scans and improve patient safety. These technologies, help to enhance patient safety and comfort.
Rostraver Imaging is Monongahela Valley Hospital’s second outpatient diagnostic imaging site in Belle Vernon. In addition to the CT scans, the facility offers open and closed MRIs, Ultrasound Imaging and X-rays. Located in the Peasant Village Professional Plaza at 100 Peasant Village Lane, Rostraver Imaging offers CT scans Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
