Health

Family Hospice and Palliative Care invites community members to attend Growing Through Grief, a free six-week educational support group beginning March 22 at Southminster House, 801 Washington Rd., Mt. Lebanon. The group will meet for six consecutive Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon, concluding April 26. Pre-registration is required.

Facilitated by a Family Hospice bereavement counselor and trained volunteer, this free group focuses on managing and coping with grief after a death with the goal of rebuilding hope after loss. The group provides a safe and supportive environment for those grieving to explore how they have been impacted by loss and how to use healthy ways of coping with grief.

For more information or to register for Growing through Grief, contact the Family Hospice Bereavement Department at 412-572-8829.
