Cousins Thomas Meli of Charleroi and Jeff Rhodes of Elizabeth Township look forward to opening up their very own pizza place.
Thomas, a former loan officer and Jeff, a Grainger sales representative, will officially open Pizza Authority, located next to the Buena Vista Post office.
While they won't officially open their doors until the end of March due to remodeling, they say they are very excited to bring something new to the community.
Pizza Authority will offer simple yet tasty menu options with pizza coming in three sizes, hero sandwiches in seven varieties, calzones made with ricotta cheese, and a few different salads. They will also feature a protein pizza and protein hero and their signature "pizza rollers."
Thomas said customer service is important to the success of the company; however, pick-up will be required for the first two months. The owners want to make sure the employees are familiar and comfortable with the execution of the menu before offering delivery, which they will try to keep under 45 minutes to a limited area.
When asked what will make Pizza Authority stand out against the rest, Thomas revealed that they will be making their food with higher quality ingredients such as grande cheeses and fontanini and margherita meats and using top-of-the-line ovens and POS systems for order accuracy. He also reported that once the remodel is near-complete and menus are printed, they will be advertising through door hangers, direct mailings, and social media.
Pizza Authority would also like to offer $2 off your first order of $12 or more when you bring this article in. Just mention this article when placing your order.
