Create with Colour recently celebrated their grand opening and the Greater Rostraver Chamber of Commerce (GRC) was happy to welcome them to the business community with a ribbon cutting. The day’s festivities included face painting, refreshments, and giveaways, with plenty of family and friends on hand.

Create with Colour, owned by Robin Berish, is located at 540 Broad Avenue and offers paint and sip parties, fundraisers, private paint parties for adults, birthday parties for children and glow in the dark painting parties for teens.

The 2015 Greater Rostraver Chamber of Commerce Fall Classic Golf Outing is scheduled for Friday, October 9 and is open to all - both members and non-chamber members. The event at Cedarbrook Golf Course begins at 9 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast, followed by a 10 a.m. start. Lunch at the turn, beverages on the course, buffet dinner, skill prizes, raffle and door prizes, great hole-in-one prizes, mini massages, networking and more are included.
Golfer registration is currently open and both individuals and foursomes may register. A variety of sponsorship levels are available and provide a great way to promote your business.
The proceeds from the golf outing fund the GRC Scholarship Program, which benefits students in our service area attending California University of Pennsylvania, Douglas Education Center and Westmoreland County Community College. This year, we are proud to announce the addition of the Andrew Solan Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded to a Belle Vernon Area High School student planning to further his/her education as a business major.
