The Hall Down Under, located at 13 Wharf Street in Dunlevy, hosted its grand opening with a free admission open house on January 24, 2015 at 7 p.m.

Popular Mon Valley classic rock band The Jades provided music for both listening and dancing. A buffet was provided by Bruno & Sons of Charleroi. The Hall was packed to capacity for opening night, with everyone enjoying a wonderful evening.

The Jades band members include local musicians Dave Hixon: Guitar/Harmonica/Vocals; Tom Toth: Drums/Vocals; Paul Banahasky: Bass/Sax/Vocals; Vince Sestito: Keyboard/Guitar/Vocals; and Markus Davis: Lead Guitar/Vocals.
The Hall Down Under owners, Brian and Mary Beth Short, have been working for months to get ready for opening night. The Hall features unique art work and seating and state-of-the-art lighting and music facilities. The Shorts were very pleased with the success of their grand opening.
