The threat of a late-day thunderstorm didn't keep the golfers from participating in the Annual GRC Fall Classic Golf Outing on Friday, October 3 at Cedarbrook Golf Course.

Golf Award
Volunteers Lynn Grimes (Checkers Boutique) and Beth DiPiazza (Waddell & Reed Financial) show off the black diamond pendant hole-in-one prize provided by Mar-Bill Diamonds and Jewelry.

The golfers enjoyed a perfect autumn day on the links while supporting the GRC Scholarship Program. The GRC donates three $1,000 scholarships annually to Douglas Education Center, California University of PA, and Westmoreland County Community College, with the facilities naming a student from our service area as the recipients.

Prizes were awarded to the first, second and third place foursomes, closest to the pin, longest putt and longest drive. A buffet dinner, 50/50 and door prize drawings rounded out the event.
