South Beach Luau Event
The South Hills Chamber is getting ready for their Second Annual "South Beach Luau" at the Tiki Lounge in the Crowne Plaza on Ft. Couch Road in Bethel Park. The Jimmy Buffet theme and songs will once again create an evening of fun and prizes topped off with a luau feast and great networking. The event is scheduled for August 21 from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Wear your island clothes or come casual and join in the fun. Cost for the event is $25 for Members and $35.00 for nonmembers with a cash bar. SHARP Awards Dinner
The South Hills Chamber is asking the south hills communities and businesses to join them at their “SHARP” Awards Dinner on September 19 at the Crowne Plaza, South. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. A VIP reception will begin at 5:45 p.m. for guests and new members. Following the VIP reception, the celebration will feature a “spotlight” picture taking moment on the red carpet, an elegant dinner with soft music and recognition ceremony concluding at 9:00 p.m.
The Chamber is rolling out the red carpet with pride as they recognize south hills businesses for a variety of achievements. Nominees are still being accepted up to August 16, 2013. If you have a favorite restaurant, fitness center, medical practice or any other business that you would like to submit for the favorite, unique or best secret categories, as well as, the 25 to 50 years plus in business awards. Do you have a favorite newspaper, radio or TV station? What business would you like to see in the spotlight on the red carpet?
