In coordination with the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce, the restaurant held a grand re-opening celebration attended by faithful customers, local government officials, township business owners, corporate management and local media.
Despite stormy weather, live music was provided by the Peters Township High School Band who performed in the parking lot at 5:30 p.m. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at 6:00 p.m. Later, local singing duo Nick & Val performed at the newly renovated bar. A raffle was held and funds were raised to assist the always highly rated band and music program of Peters Township High School.
Brian Schill and Mike Silvestri enjoyed the comradery and hors d’oeuvres. Both represented the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce and Peters Township government, respectfully.

“We thought the restaurant deserved a makeover, which included both extensive interior and exterior re-design,” Weis said.
He enthusiastically pointed out the addition of the front sun room with fireplace and explained how interior walls were removed and partially recreated to add space. The bar area was complete refurbished to include ornate woodwork, and tables were replaced with spacious booths to make diners more comfortable.
“All in all, we spent about $250,000 for the complete renovations,” he said. All of the executives and restaurant employees that were interviewed agreed that the money was well-spent, and it appeared that the clientele present that evening were very happy with the new look and feel of the popular eating establishment.
