Where we are today and where we are going in the future were the subjects of Mr. Meuser’s talk as he covered Governor Tom Corbett’s 2013- 2013 budget. The most important changes for the future, said Meuser, were the Transportation Funding Bill, which he called a “bold plan on behalf of the Governor” and the Pension Reform Plan.
Chamber Executive Director Debbie Keefer welcomed the plentiful crowd who included Debbie Bachinski from Senator Solobay’s office, Dale K. Simpson from the PA Department of Revenue, Charleroi Mayoral candidate John Mollenaur and Regina Able from the S.B.A. New Chamber member Catherine Volk from Volk Technical Services was also welcomed into the group which now has 311 members total.

Administration as Department of Revenue Secretary on January 18, 2011.
“The Corbett Administration comes from the private sector,” said Meuser, “I feel I could do a lot of good under Corbett – to put the state in sound financial order with a job for everyone who wants one.”
