Indoor Flea Markets

Need something for the family to do during winter? There is no better place to turn than Trax Farms’ Indoor Flea Market for some free family fun. You are guaranteed to find something unique from the 83 vendors selling antiques, gifts, collectibles, clothing and much more in our events room. Free parking and free admission. The flea market starts at 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3.

Antique Loft Anniversary

On March 8, 9, and 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., join Trax for a special anniversary celebration at its Antique Loft. Enjoy treats, raffles, gifts, lots of new items, and surprises!


Taste of Trax

Saturday, March 9 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Trax will open its pantry for a day of sampling, so come try specialties like homemade nut breads, baked goods, homemade fudge, mulled wines, and more. Plus, numerous vendors will showcase their specialties and recipes. Free tasting of award-winning local winery Arrowhead Wines are available as well. For those with a sweet tooth, come by and try our sweets and other baked goods. Free parking and free admission make this the perfect excuse to get the entire family out of the house and try something new. Come hungry!


Tri-State Master Gardener Lecture Series

Join Tri-State Area Master Gardener's Association for its spring workshop on Saturday, March 16, at 9:30 a.m. Exciting and informative garden talks will take place all morning, and a fun terrarium workshop is scheduled for the afternoon. All proceeds benefit the outreach efforts of the TAMGA Program. Door prizes raffled off at each session. To pre-register call Hancock Country Extension at 304-564-3805. Morning session is $15 and will include topics such determining the right location to plant, vegetable gardening, and keeping nature’s pests away.

Easter Egg Hunts/Breakfast With the Bunny

Easter comes early this year! Join us at Trax for our Easter Egg Hunts and Breakfast with the Bunny. No reservations are required for the egg hunts, but order tickets ($7) early as spots are limited. Egg hunts start at 10:30 a.m. and last until 2 p.m., starting every 30 minutes. Hunts are divided into three age-appropriate groups. Easter Breakfast with the Bunny will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24; Good Friday, March, 29; and Saturday, March 30. Each child will receive a filling breakfast of cereal with milk, mini donuts, orange drink, and a fresh apple. The child will then get to visit the bunny, do a fun craft, and enter our coloring contest. For parents, fresh coffee, muffins, bagels, and more breakfast goodies are available. Reservations are required ($8). Tickets for these events can be purchased over the phone or at our customer service desk.

The afternoon session is $25, and presenters will discuss organic pest control and making a terrarium. Both sessions are just $35 if you pre-register by March 9.

Lenten Dinners

Let us do the cooking for you ... Lenten foods are available from our deli every Friday during Lent. In our hot case, baked or battered fish sandwiches and dinners are offered until 5 p.m. every Friday during Lent. Lenten salads and soups are also available. The Jumbo Battered or Baked Fish Sandwich Dinner includes a battered or baked fish served on a freshly baked bun with lettuce and tartar sauce with homemade cole slaw and your choice of macaroni and cheese or haluski—all of this for just $7.99 a dinner! Other Lenten foods available are crab cakes, deviled crabs, and Lenten soups and salads. Also, don’t forget to order your Easter ham!
