Trax Farms February Events
Trax Farms is hosting the following events and is located at 528 Trax Road, Finleyville (Rt. 88, between Library and Finleyville). Winter store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Taste of Trax
Saturdays, February 9 and March 9 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Trax will open its pantry for a day of sampling, so come try specialties like homemade nut breads, baked goods, homemade fudge, mulled wines, and more. Plus, numerous vendors will showcase their specialties and recipes. Free tasting of award-winning local winery Arrowhead Wines are available as well. For those with a sweet tooth, come by and try our sweets and other baked goods. Free parking and free admission make this the perfect excuse to get the entire family out of the house and try something new. Come hungry!
Choose Some Locally Made Valentine Wine
This year, Trax Farms has everything you need for the perfect Valentine’s Day, starting with our wide selection of fun, award-winning table wine from Arrowhead Wine Cellars. Our expert wine staff will help you pick the perfect wine to complement your planned Valentine’s dinner as well as gourmet chocolate for the perfect dessert. Our Cherry Love is on sale for just $12.99. Don’t forget the perfect gift for a wine lover is a ticket to our Winter Wine Festival on Saturday, February 23 from noon to 5 p.m. featuring seven local wineries, great food, and live music (see below).
Trax Farms’ Winter Wine Festival
Trax will host its first Winter Wine Festival on Saturday, February 23, from noon to 5 p.m. Traditionally, Trax Farms has offered exceptional wine tastings and lectures but the festival will be bigger than anything the farm has ever done before with great food, live music, and a showcase of the very best from seven local, award-wining, Western PA wineries: Arrowhead Wine Cellars, Ripepi Winery & Vineyard, Greenhouse Winery, Glades Pike Winery, Raspberry Acres, J & D Cellars, Kavic Winery. Taste wines while listening to the area’s best music from local favorite Black Horse. Must be 21 or older to purchase and sample wines. Attendees receive a free Trax Farms wine glass and a chance to win a Trax gift card. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the event.
Indoor Flea Markets
Need something for the family to do during winter? There is no better place to turn than Trax Farms’ Indoor Flea Market for some free family fun. You are guaranteed to find something unique from the 83 vendors selling antiques, gifts, collectibles, clothing and much more in our events room. Free parking and free admission. The flea market starts at 9 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays, February 2-3 and 16-17 and March 2-3.
Easter Egg Hunts and Breakfast With the Bunny
Easter comes early this year! Our Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast With the Bunny tickets go on sale on Monday, February 25. The Easter Egg Hunts start at 10:30 a.m. and run until 2 p.m., every 30 minutes. Hunts are divided into three age-appropriate groups. Tickets are $7. No reservations are required, but order early as spots are limited. Breakfast with the Bunny is Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24; Good Friday, March, 29; and Saturday, March 30 at 9:30 a.m. Each child will receive a filling breakfast of cereal with milk, mini donuts, orange drink, and a fresh apple. The child will then get to visit the bunny, do a fun craft, and enter our coloring contest. Parents can enjoy fresh coffee, muffins, bagels, and more breakfast goodies. Reservations are required. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased by phone or at our customer service desk. Egg hunts run until 2 p.m. on these same dates.
