The Miracle League of the South Hills has announced that Lisa Carlisle will be taking over as the new Director of Operations.
Lisa has volunteered at the Miracle League of the South Hills since the fall season of the very first year (2012). She started out as a Buddy for the Mets, then became a coach for the Cubs, and for the past several years has coached both the Cubs and the Athletics. She has been seen helping out with special events such as the Miracle Bash, the Sean Casey Golf Classic, the Next Inning and the MLSH travel teams. She enjoys spending her time with the athletes, families and volunteers at the Miracle League of the South Hills.
Lisa will be taking on Miranda Klein’s role as the main point of contact for our athletes, families, and volunteers. As the Director of Operations, she will have an integral role in elevating our current programs while continuing to grow the game of baseball for the best athletes in the country. She will also be involved in implementing new programming beginning in 2024.
Lisa is from Hickory, PA in Washington County. She graduated from Fort Cherry High School and got her B.S. in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University. She taught 2nd grade for 13 years mainly in Nokesville, VA. She then moved back to PA and became a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She worked in many elementary schools throughout Allegheny County until just recently.
