Hoods Up Quick Lube has opened a new location in Carroll Township.

New owner Gary Koteles, a resident of the Mon Valley, has been in the Quick Lube business since the age of seventeen. He managed his first store at the age of twenty one and became a district manager at the age of thirty. Koteles had inquired in the past with the Bartolotta family about purchasing the former Duke of Oil, located in the parking lot at Fisher Heights (Giant Eagle) in Monongahela, Carroll Township. However – Camera Bartolotta instead asked Koteles to manage the store, which he has for the past thirteen years. Finally, on February 12, 2020 he was able to successfully purchase the Duke of Oil and officially changed its name to Hoods Up Quick Lube.

Koteles’ family is also involved in the Quick Lube business. His son, Cody Koteles, operates the Belle Vernon Hoods Up Quick Lube location at 1640 Broad Ave, in Belle Vernon, which opened in August 2017. Son, Jonathan Koteles, a high school senior, works for them, also.

Both the Carroll Township and Belle Vernon Hoods Up Quick Lube locations offer no appointment oil changes, tire rotation, air filters, cabin air filters, wiper blades, and light bulbs. They also offer State Inspections, emission testing, and most auto repairs.

The new Hoods Up Quick Lube is located at 1304 Country Club Road, Monongahela, PA 15063. They can be reached by calling 724-258-8885. HOODS UP Quick Lube hours at both locations are Monday-Friday 9 am -5 pm and Saturday 9 am - 3 pm.
