GCCDC is a grassroots organization made up of citizens who are interested in working toward building a stronger Charleroi. GCCDC, a non-profit, 501-C3 organization. For their current project, they began developing the space on Meadow Ave, a green space with memorial acknowledgements. With the help of MVI and other organizations enough money was raised to finish Phase I and Phase II. Phase III is in the process of being completed now. This is just one of the various projects over the last 30+ years this organization has brought to fruition. GCCDC is responsible for numerous other projects such as Meadow Townhouses, and for rehabbing multiple homes in the Greater Charleroi Area.
