Fallowfield Twp. Volunteer Fire Company Issues Awards

The annual awards dinner was recently held at the Fallowfield Twp Volunteer Fire Company's Social Hall. During the evening, awards were presented for the year 2014. Presentations were made by Fire Chief Anthony Fleming and President Jeff Melvin to the following members:


Downtown West Newton Inc. is currently accepting applications for this year's vendors, as we still have some spaces still available for the 2015 season. We are looking for produce vendors, artists, and crafters. Please give our office a call at 724-872-0100 for further information.

Join us as the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum opens for the season with one of our favorite events, "Bunny Trolley." Ride a beautifully restored antique trolley to see the bunny on Friday, Saturday and Sunday March 27, 28, 29 and Friday and Saturday April 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ongoing activities include an egg hunt, a springtime craft activity, 4-H's live rabbits and photo opportunity with the bunny.

The Elizabeth Forward Youth Baseball/Softball Leagues held a pancake breakfast at the Elizabeth Bingo Hall for their first 2015 fundraiser.


With the support of his family, friends and neighbors, Nick Sherman officially announces his intention to run for the Washington County commissioner. He is seeking the Republican nomination in the May 2015 race.
