It is with historic significance that the Boards of Directors of the Mon Valley Progress Council (MVPC) and the Middle Monongahela Industrial Development Association (MMIDA) have elected to consolidate in order to more effectively serve the economic development future of the Mon Valley Region. Effective immediately the consolidated organizations will be known as the Mon Valley Alliance.

The next two meetings of the South Hills Friends of the Montour Trail will be held on May 10 and June 14, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the South Park Township Community Room located at 2675 Brownsville Road, South Park, PA.

The Monessen Amphitheater Committee will kickoff the summer season with the ‘Cruisin’ into Summer’ car cruise at Monessen City Park Walking Track on June 5, 2016 at 2 p.m.
