A low cost cat spay/neuter clinic will be held at the New Eagle VFD Social Hall on June 27 and July 25, 2019.

Throughout the spring, summer and fall, the Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) will hold events to collect household chemical products known as “household hazardous waste” such as cleaners, paints, stains and varnishes, batteries, motor oil, pesticides and other products containing potentially hazardous chemicals.

The Woman's Club of Upper St Clair awarded scholarships to graduating seniors on April 16, 2019. Emma Caldart, Olivia Depski and Rachel Harris were selected from 17 applicants to receive the $5,000 scholarship. Another scholarship for $1,000 was awarded to Ethan Mann.

The Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources, Inc. is sponsoring its annual Strawberry Festival on Friday, June 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of Monongahela Valley Hospital.
