TEEN CRAFT: PET TOYS: Thursday, July 13 at 2:30 p.m. Come learn how to make pet toys. Toys will be donated to a local animal shelter. For teens going into grades 6 – 12. Please register by calling 412-655-2424 or emailing danylod@einetwork.net
BUG HUNT AND HIKE AT PLEASANT HILLS ARBORETUM: Saturday, July 22 at 10 a.m. (Rain date: Saturday, August 5 at 10 a.m.). Join Chad Gore, local entomologist, at the arboretum to learn about bugs in our area. We’ll search for specific bugs while enjoying a nature hike. This program will take place at the Pleasant Hills Arboretum, located at 181 West Bruceton Road. Family program. Please register by calling 412-655-2424 or emailing danylod@einetwork.net.
ICE CREAM MAKING: Monday, July 24 at 7 p.m. Celebrate National Ice Cream Day at the library by making your very own batch of ice cream. We’ll provide the toppings to turn your homemade ice cream into a sundae. A $2 donation per person is requested and will be collected at the event. Family program.
