The First United Methodist Church, located at 200 State Street, Belle Vernon, will have Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 16 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM.   Come and have a delicious pancake and sausage breakfast and enjoy a visit with Santa Claus.  All ages are invited.  This event is a community program and is free to the public.  Donations will be accepted, but not required to attend.

The Monessen Amphitheater Committee will host the 7th Annual Monessen Holiday Lights Contest. Free registration for Monessen residents is open through December 16, 2023. Judging will take place from December 20-23, and is open to Monessen residential properties and businesses. Prizes will be awarded to the Top Winner in the following categories: Griswold Award, Best Novelty, Best Traditional, Best Business, and  People’s Choice for business and residential. The United Christian Church, 499 East Malden Drive in Coal Center will have a live drive-thru Nativity ‘Journey to Bethlehem’ on Saturday and Sunday, December 9 and 10 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM.  There are 9 live scenes with actors and animals.  Donations are accepted and shared between California Volunteer Fire Department & Camp Laurelview Christian Camp.  For more information call 724-938-2098.

The Interfaith Council is sponsoring a free Christmas Concert at First Presbyterian Church of Finleyville on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 7:00 PM.  A Goodwill Offering will benefit the St. John XXIII Interfaith Food Pantry at St. Francis Fellowship Hall, and other interfaith projects.  The music will be provided by the South Hills Community Concert Band.  Refreshments will be provided following the performance.
