The Community College of Allegheny County’s successful 2021 spring golf season ended with one of its own winning the CCAC Wild Cat Invitational held at The Links at Spring Church on May 17 and 18. Competing against golfers from other regional institutions, sophomore Dominic Achille, from South Park, finished in first place as the invitational medalist with a score on both days of 81 and a total score of 162, beating the runner-up by six strokes.

Those individuals originally scheduled to be inducted into the Mid-Mon Valley All-Sports Hall of Fame as the Class of 2020 will now comprise the Class of 2022 and will be inducted at St. Spyridon Hellenic Center on Friday, June 17, 2022. The banquet for this year was again not feasible due to the continued prevalence of COVID-19 pandemic.

Zach Borman and Carson Cress each scored a goal while goaltender Eddie Nowicki recorded a shutout as the Baldwin High School hockey team defeated Franklin Regional, 2-0, on April 20 to win the Penguins Cup AA championship. The game was played at the Robert Morris University Island Sports Center. This was the first hockey title for Baldwin since 1988.

Registration is now open to teams and / or players wanting to play in the Mens' Church Softball League of the South Hills.  Games are played as Doubleheaders on Saturdays and sometimes makeup Fridays based on schedule and requests.  Normal season generally runs from May through July and into August.
