Scholarship opportunities are provided by the Southwestern Pennsylvania Registered Nurses Club to nursing students entering their final year of studies in a diploma program, associate degree program, or Bachelor of Science degree program. Nurses actively pursuing advanced education in nursing may also apply.
Students are eligible whose official home of residence is in one of the following 10 counties: Allen, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland.
Scholarships are awarded each April. Apply through the Pittsburgh Foundation, Five PPG Place, Suite 250, Pittsburgh PA 15222-5414. The Pittsburgh Foundation also sends scholarship information to nursing schools and colleges in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.
