As part of America’s 250 year celebration, on Monday, June 22, the Whitehall America 250 Committee unearthed a Bicentennial Time Capsule from 1976.

The time capsule was placed into the custody of the Whitehall Borough Historical Society. Whitehall Mayor, Jim Nowalk was on hand to speak with observers and witness the event. Nowalk is also a member of the Historical Society and chairperson of Whitehall America250 committee.
