Bishop Mark Eckman visited Saints Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Campus - Elizabeth, on Thursday, February 12.

Over 100 parishioners participated in the roundtable discussion on how the parish is doing with the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy which focuses on outreach to the poor and homebound and people struggling with life issues.
Parishioners interacted with one another highlighting how active the parish is helping with four area food banks, visiting the homebound, and offering Adult and Children’s Religious Education programs.
Bishop Eckman is visiting all the parishes in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, which covers Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Green, Lawrence, and Washington Counties. Saints Joachim and Anne serves the communities of Elizabeth, Forward, Glassport, Lincoln, Liberty, and Port Vue.
