Saints Joachim and Anne Catholic Parish- Elizabeth/Glassport/Liberty Boro participated in their annual ‘Angel Tree’ gift giving project with over five hundred gifts collected from parishioners.

Parishioners of Saints Joachim and Anne Catholic Parish helped with the Angel Tree giving project

One of the nine agencies helped was the Little Sisters of the Poor in Brighton Heights where they operate a nursing home for the elderly. Three cart loads were delivered for the residents.

Other agencies that were helped were: Auberle of McKeesport, Elizabeth Salvation Army, Mantle House Mission in West Newton, Birthright Pittsburgh, Catholic Charities, the Seminarians of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Grandview Estates Nursing Home- Elizabeth, and homebound parishioners of Saints of Joachim and Anne.
