Chef Doug Brannock has perfected recipes for matzo ball chicken soup and roasted eggplant bisque, which will be offered along with the popular wedding soup for $5 a quart with 2 dinner rolls.

Girls With Vision (GWV) will hold their general monthly meeting for the month of May at Monessen Public Library & Cultural Center on Saturday, May 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. GWV is open to girls, who are 11 to 15 and reside in the Mon Valley.
