Whitehall Borough Historical Society to Hold Semiquincentennial Program
The Whitehall Borough Historical Society along with the Baldwin Whitehall School District and the Borough of Whitehall will present a program celebrating America’s 250th anniversary at The Regis V. Shalley Performing Arts Center at Baldwin High School.
The celebration will be held on April 9, 2026 at 7:00PM. The theme will be ‘Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness.’ Emcee for the program will be political expert, Jon Delano. Other speakers will include Pulitzer Prize winner and Carnegie Mellon Professor, Dr. Edda Fields-Black; Author, Editor and columnist Brandon McGinley; Former Deputy Mayor of Pittsburgh, columnist and current Law Professor at Duquesne University Law School Joseph Mistick and Monica Ruiz, Executive Director at Casa San Jose.
The program will include a town crier and musical performances by the Baldwin Music Department. There will also be a round table discussion led by Jon Delano, including a question and answer session.
