Eligible majors include horticulture, agriculture, landscape architecture/design, botany, plant pathology, forestry, agronomy, environmental concerns, city planning, and land management.

Applicants must be either a high school senior graduating in 2026 or a current college or trade school student who has successfully completed at least one year of study by June 2026.

To qualify, students must be graduates of the following school districts: Belle Vernon, California, Charleroi, Monessen, Frazier, Ringgold, or Yough. Eligibility also includes students who were homeschooled or attended cyber school while residing in one of these districts.

Application details are available at the school guidance offices. Questions may also be sent to valleygardenclubscholarship@gmail.com. All application materials must be received no later than Friday, April 10, 2026.

The scholarship award will be given directly to the student and may be used for tuition, books, or other academic expenses to support their educational journey. The Valley Garden Club encourages all eligible students with a passion for plants, environmental stewardship, and land management to apply.
