The 2026 Sustainability Fair will take place on Saturday, February 7 from 12:00 noon to 3:30PM. The event is sponsored by the Whitehall Committee for Environmental Action, and will be held at St. Gabriel Church Hall, located at 5200 Greenridge Drive in Whitehall Borough, 15236.

 RECYCLE

The following items will be collected on site:

  • Ink and toner cartridges
  • Magic markers, crayons and pens
  • Reasonably clean, worn out athletic shoes
  • Clean durable medical equipment – canes, walkers, wheelchairs, bed rails, crutches
  • Clean plastic film and packaging
  • Single use plastic bags
  • Blankets and towels for animal shelters

PURCHASE earth friendly, low impact and fair trade items from local vendors.

LEARN by speaking with sustainable landscapers, composters, land and water conservation organizations, groups and businesses recycling various items.

MEET others who share your specific environmental interests or those addressing other environmental issues. New this year will be small group talks by experts.

FIND volunteer opportunities with local organizations caring for the land, water, plants and animals.

HAVE FUN making children’s crafts from recycled materials.
