Bowling balls, bright lights, and big hearts came together recently as the Rotary Clubs of Pleasant Hills and White Oak — affectionately known as the Pleasant Oaks” partnership — hosted a lively ‘Pins for Polio’ cosmic bowling fundraiser to support Rotary Internationals global effort to eradicate polio.

Held at Spins on Sunday, October. 26, the event featured neon lights, upbeat music, and plenty of friendly competition. Bowlers of all ages filled the lanes, knocking down pins — and barriers — in the fight against this preventable disease.

This was about having fun for a cause that truly matters,” said, Robert Weiss President Elect of the Pleasant Hills Rotary Club. Every donation and every game brings us closer to a world without polio.”
