Head, Shoulders, Knees and Scales with Carnegie Museum of Natural History – Wednesday, July 6 @ 6:30 p.m.The Carnegie Museum of Natural History brings its wild side to the library with live reptiles! Kids will use infrared thermometers to take temperatures, construct environmental stimuli to help the animals enjoy new activities and learn what reptiles eat for lunch. Program geared to preschool - grade 2, but all are welcome. Registration required.
Teen 3D Printing Workshop - Tuesday, July 12 @ 6:30 p.m.Come to our teen workshop to learn how to generate your own 3D models. You’ll go through the fundamentals of software called 123D Design to make a 3D file that can be used for 3D printing. This hour-long class hosted by Aaron Hartman of Bits to Pieces will show you the basics of 3D design. Registration required.
Knitting & Crochet with Emily Klaczak – Saturday, July 16 @ 11 am Join Emily for a beginner class on knitting and crocheting. These classes are free, but you will need some materials, which are listed on our website. Registration required.
