The Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce (MVRCC) and event sponsor Stoney’s Beer, will hold a Steel City Comedy Tour on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Stockdale Fire Department Social Hall.


The Monongahela Area Revitalization Corporation (MARC) held its “On Your MARC” The Best Yet 5K Run/Walk, presented by Cox Market, on September 30 through the neighborhoods of Monongahela and New Eagle.


Downtown West Newton Inc. presents the Annual Miracle On Main Street Light-Up Night Festival on Saturday, November 25 from 3 - 8:30 p.m. The theme is "A Teddy Bear Christmas" and it will be held at Main and Second Street.


After welcoming those in attendance at it October 16 program meeting, Ken Thompson, president and vice president/chairman of the program committee, introduced the evening’s guest speaker, Jon Day.
