Library News

The West Newton Public Library will present a 9/11 a lecture and discussion with the coroner of Shanksville, PA - Wally Miller.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 16 at 10 a.m. at the West Newton First Baptist Church, located at the corner of 6th and Vine St. in West Newton. Following the lecture, a luncheon with Mr. Miller will take place at the LeGrande Room, South 2nd Street.

Spend an intriguing day with the Shanksville coroner and find out firsthand what happened to Flight 93 as it approached Shanksville and what that day had in store for Mr. Wally Miller! This is your chance to ask the questions that have been on your mind all these years. Tickets for the lecture and discussion are $10 each. The luncheon is optional following the event. (Please note seating for the luncheon is limited to only 80 individuals, so we suggest purchasing that ticket early).

Tickets are on sale at the West Newton Library or at Gary's Chuck Wagon at S. 2nd in West Newton. For more information, please call 724-633-0798. All proceeds raised benefit the West Newton Public Library.
